Felted Crochet Gift Basket
Material : 1 ball 100% wool approx. 80-100yds and 5.5mm hook ( we used the Fritidsgarn)
Chain 3, join in circle, place a stitch marker.
Next row: Chain 1, 6 sc into ring.
Work in rounds now: 2 sc into each sc for 2 rounds.
Next: * 1 sc, 2sc into next sc*, repeat from * to end of round.
Next: repeat last round
Next: Work in sc around from now on and add as many rows as you like ( we did 20).
Change colors or to an effect yarn if you like. ( we used Brazilia to add the red to it).
Work until you have the desired height or until you have only enough yarn left to finish off.
Felt you basket . It is often easier to felt if you washing machine has a full load.
